How LanceGuru began
LanceGuru was founded in 2026 by Algo Point Ai with a clear conviction: India has some of the most talented freelancers in the world, but too many marketplaces take a big cut, hold payments hostage and treat creators as an afterthought. We set out to build something better — a platform that puts trust, fairness and quality first.
From day one, the focus has been on the Indian market: INR-first pricing, UPI and bank payouts, and local talent across many skill categories, from web development and design to content, marketing and AI. We paired that with milestone escrow, verified profiles and skill assessments so clients can hire with confidence and freelancers are always guaranteed payment for approved work. LanceGuru is still early in its journey, but the mission stays the same — help great work happen, fairly.
