The judiciary reiterated that it has the authority to order the seizure of assets belonging to what it described as “enemies" residing outside the country. The announcement was also published by the judiciary’s Mizan news agency.

The statement comes amid heightened tensions between Iran and its adversaries, with authorities signalling stricter measures against individuals accused of collaborating with foreign governments.
The current war in West Asia erupted on February 28, when the United States and Israel launched coordinated military strikes on multiple Iranian cities, marking the most intense escalation in years between Tehran and its adversaries.
The offensive, christened Operation Lion’s Roar, targeted Iranian military and government sites, including nuclear infrastructure and leadership compounds, and resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Iran responded with missile and drone attacks on Israeli territory, US forces and allied bases across the Gulf, drawing in multiple regional fronts and amplifying instability across West Asia.
