Saudi Arabia on Sunday confirmed its first deaths in the ongoing war in West Asia, as the Kingdom’s civil defence agency said that a military projectile fell on a residential area in the Al-Kharj governorate, killing two people and injuring 12 others.

The Civil Defence spokesperson said in a statement that the two killed were of Indian and Bangladeshi nationality, and all the wounded are Bangladeshi residents. These are the first casualties since the war broke out between the US-Israel and Iran a week ago.
